I think that the video makes sense because awakening means waking up to be who you really are and the man in the business suit was really a rock punk star

Some people are saying that this video has nothing to do with the song. It has everything to do with it. Listen to the lyrics.....

I saw the making of this video on the Switchfoot podcast (which is FREE and on iTunes) and it was absolutely incredible how it was created! The long and painstaking process was totally worth it-any Switchfoot lover must have this song in their music vault!
Wonderful!

I like how they used actors (i noticed one from epic movie) to star in the video, pretty funny ones too. The cardboard "TV" and band was genius. Its like, hhmmm... hobo guitar hero, but really awesome. I congradgulate you guys for making a funny but very cool music video.

I love Switchfoot. I have been a fan since their first CD. But this video is weird. Original, but weird! Don't get me wrong, I love this video. It just has absolutely nothing to do with the song! But it is hilarious! I actually encourage Switchfoot to make more videos like this. It makes me laugh! Some of their other videos like "Dare You To Move" made me depressed... (LOL) But buy it! It will make you laugh and have fun! Great for going crazy with friends with :D

This has got to be one of my favorite Switchfoot videos along Stars and Dare You To Move. I have to say that Switchfoot can make any video they want too now. They have done such a great job on making serious videos and comedy like this one.
NOTE- This video might not be in the greatest clarity due to Switchfoot having to fund it out of the band members own pockets! Sony BMG has helped them with this single in no way which is such a dissapointment to all of us Switchfoot fans. If you can help in anyway to promote this video and help Switchfoot please do by requesting it to radio stations and requesting the video to mtv and vh1
THANK YOU ALL!!!

This video is BEYOND hilarious. I LOVE it. And, after watching it for the 528th time, I just now realized that the guy that's messing with his phone in the beginning has the SAME EXACT PHONE AS ME. Which is freaking awesome! Sorry to sound so crazy, and as if I don't understand what I'm talking about, and as if I should focus on the video, not my phone, but for someone like me where nothing interesting ever happens to you, I just think it's pretty freaking cool to know that someone out of one of the world's best bands has my phone. Sorry to say it, it's just awesome.
And now, on the topic of this video, you really have to watch it, not just look at it, to be able to see all the deep funniness of this video. It's awesome and fun to watch, even if you don't look at it deeply, which is why I've watched it so many times. It's really awesome and funny, and I think this is a must-have video everyone should buy. Just my opinion. AND MY PHONE.
Just like the old golden days.

Being a fan for so long I can remember the videos to New Way To Be Human, Company Car, and Chem 6A. As the band said they wanted to relax and make a fun video. They didn't add or take away from the song, they just had fun. So if your looking for a deep story video with the song this isn't it, but as it's been #1 on fuse for a while it's been liked. It is something nobody'd ever tried in a video before, tearing pictures of every frame (24fps) and recording It and it looks great. It is a great video and very funny so give it a try. If your a Switchfoot fan you know that it was very time consuming, so show your support and download it.
Awesome Video. A must have for the iPod ^_^
