The first 6 songs are a smashing success. Some have noted poor theological/political circumstances as a reason they dislike this album but I don't find those anywhere in the album. The best album they've had since Where the Light Shines Through. Definitely in the top half of their 14? albums.
Genuinely Awful

LOVEEEEEEEE these dudes down but they started losing their quality sound after Hello Hurricane sadly. Butterfly Effect is truly their worst song to date. Im only hearing that one time and then never again
Pretty amazingly consistent

These guys just keep churning out good music. It’s been said but they experiment, and still sound like the band I’ve followed for 15+ years.
Is this their best ever? No. But I’m giving them 5 stars for still making music and lyrics that I want to listen to.
To me, best here are Wake Up, Mr Crow; Natural Causes; Ride or Die; Broken Wings; Two Twins

More like Forever Never for supporting all the groups that are liberal and socialist to the MAX. Long gone are the days of writing real songs about GOD and Jesus
Love their new album!

I’m glad the guitars are back, leading the way! And with all Switchfoot albums, I greatly appreciate their well written, meaningful lyrics that express hope and inspiration, amongst other great things. 💛
Another Banger!

Best album since Fading West, no skips on this one, reminds me of their older stuff with Natural Causes and Shake the Dust
So. Good.

Switchfoot (as usual) nailed it. My wife and I listened to it all the way through and this album is truly such an awesome journey! Amazing lyrics and amazing melodies. Jon, Tim, Chad, Jerome, Boaz — Be encouraged!
Two Good First Songs

While Jon Foreman is one of the best lyricists out there, in recent years the band’s music style has been fair at best…the first two songs here are good…hoping for more in this vein. And I don’t hear anything political here…After listening to the whole album, I’m pleased…Perhaps the most cohesive album Switchfoot has released in years…
Letdown (pun intended)

Some good songs, but feels like I’d be wasting my money buying the album. Songs like Two Twins is just cringy tbh. I like the heavier stuff like like Wake up Mr. Crow, but most of the other songs sound pretty repetitive.
Amazing !

Guess sales have been so bad, Jon finally wrote one song actually about God in a clear manner that wasn't questioning Him or just going against scripture. Also nice the band was allowed to play their instruments again. This why it got 2 stars.
Jon still worships liberalism instead of Jesus though. He also broke the trust of any actual Christian a long time ago and one song isn't getting me to embrace them again. Odds are I won't even bother hoping the next one is any different.
Another awesome Switchfoot album!

Ignore the review by bab1972. He doesn't know what he's talking about. In YFWYA, Jon sings "You were made in the image of the one who loves you, more than the cause that you place above you." It's saying you were made in the image of God and you're worth more than whatever politics you think define you. He's praising God and saying God and love transcend politics.
Amazing!

Ok. On my second full listen. This one is a fireball. Formidable songwriting paired with cranky guitars and big drums? Let's go!
THIS IS THE WAY
