I first heard this when I was like 7 and I’ve listened to all the other albums in the vH catalog but this one is just my favorite by a mile
And even some of the less remembered song are great. There just isn’t one bad song in this album
Ignore the negative reviews

Man, if you’re reading this, then I bet you all agree with me that I wish I could go back in time to try to convince Eddie to stop drugging to prevent the fall of mankind. Frick, I even have a band of my own. That being said, that doesn’t mean we even come close to trying to be as good as VH.Most of my friends think I’m crazy because right now all they’re hooked on is K-pop demon hunters.(I’m 11yrs old right now.) perfect album for Sammy haters ‘n Dave lovers. Anyway, RIP EDDIE VAN HALEN. P.S.-I wish I could have seen them live together.😢😢😢🖤🖤🖤

A true masterpiece album with unbelievable production/vocals/synth/guitar work. An essential for sure!

Bro, your names ironic considering that you’re bashing songs even though you’re suppose to “love them”. Real cringe and corny bruh.
Wait, what five years before 1989 also wish could have a zero star

Probably the greatest Van Halen record ever. The entire album is perfect start to finish and the pinnacle of the David Lee Roth era.
Ed is the reason I play guitar

This was the first cassette tape my dad ever bought me, I was 2! I used to run around the house with my Walkman screaming “Jump” at the top of my lungs! I cry every time I hear that song now. Great album my hands down favorite!!
A JUMP in the right direction

This album is simply amazing and I love it, but, it does show a different side of Van Halen, even though after this album, Roth departed and Hagar came. So it still feels quite special

At low volume, listenable, but once you raise volume frequencies kinda hurts your ears.
That whole eliminating frequencies and compressing in order to save data.
Update: On bose mini speaker which has bass boost it sounds amazing but on apple earbuds
It does not reproduce the same.
Apple should decide what type of sound output the music is meant for.
Maybe have a equalizer you can adjust depending on sound output.
Woohoo

My favorites are I’ll wait, Panama, and jump, but the others are just as good. Listening to them reverts me back to try and feel like what it was living in the old times (I’m 12). I’m still learning g how to use a cassette player, and the only cassette I have is a French lesson. With the sad passing of Eddie vh, I listen to this with an even bigger smile on my face, hoping he had a good life, as my friends think I’m weird (they listen to ppl like dua lipa, Ariana grande, Billie eilish, and Ava max). I’m not saying they are bad, I’m just saying that I prefer things like vh, kiss, Aerosmith, gnr, and cruë. I prefer David lee Roth as the lead singer of vh better than Sammy Hagar, though they are both good.
Peace out ✌🏼🚀🤟🏼🕶
