1)shinedown is awesome
2)there can be more than one song with the title diamond eyes
3) the name of the band is deftones not "the" deftones
4) and finally LISTEN TO TOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why complain?

Why would you even complain about the title Diamond Eyes. Deftones song isn't even the same thing. Plenty of songs have the same titles. Who cares. Always something ppl gotta hate on. SHINEDOWN=WINNING!!!!
great song!!

As much as id love to talk about how Shinedown sounds exactly like every other rock band that exists today like nickelback and three days grace. I cant, as generic and bland the music is it stills has quite a bit more feeling then every other band out there now a days. However i do suggest picking a new title for the song because DEFTONES KICK THE CRAP OUT OF THESE GUYS

Another Nickelback

I don't know what happened to this band after Leave a Whisper was released, but they have slowly manifested into sell-outs. The same thing happened to Nickelback. They had solid album with an original sound to it, and then they gave into catchiness. Catchiness is what today's music fans want. It creates air time and album sales. Talent skips a generation, so 2000-2010 is just like the 80s. Hopefully, 2011- will have a more original sound like the 90s Seattle scene created. "Boom-lay-boom-lay-boom"? I mean come on! Brent Smith is a decent singer, but I have to admit his songwriting has gone down the tubes. He has seriously gone mental! His onstage presence is awesome? He looks like an emo Meatloaf. Shinedown used to be one of my favorite bands, but I can't listen to them anymore without embarrassing my own self.
guys get your eyes and ears checked

this deluxe album single whatever you want to call it might have a song on there that has been already released. but this one is with Lzzy Fricken Hale. so technically its different. and diamond eyes is way different then deftones so stop whining about that. overall go to a doctor to check up on your hearing and eye sight because obviously it is in need. no offense \m/
Rocks!

In today's crank it out and make a buck, Shinedown is one of those groups that can create a song and reinvent themselves. Very difficult to stay fresh, but they do it as well as anyone.
stop whining-its a great song

I completly agree with varik valin; music takes time and its going to be a while before shinedown releases a new album so for now, just keep listening to this freaking awesome single!

Stop complaining about how Shinedown needs to make new music fast. They've been on tour for years, guys. You can't expect them to perform the amazing concerts they do as well as make new music at the same time. Lmao. Excuse them for trying to reach everyone. Personally, I'm happy with the wait. I'll take a good show over a new album any day--Brent Smith has an amazing stage presence. :) To the people who simply don't like the song, move on. Not everyone is going to like the same music. If Shinedown isn't for you, just don't listen to it, lol. You don't have to go out of your way to write a bad review if you don't even like the band. xD
same old, same old

Re-releasing an old song with a guest singer? Sure its ok, but this other song just sounds like the Sound of Madness all over again. Not too impressed overall.
