This band works so freaking hard. If you have ever seen them you know what I mean.
The true test for any band should be: "CAN THEY DO IT LIVE AND ACOUSTIC?" The answer for Shinedown is a resounding "hell yeah!"
Just buy it.
Shinedown is Shinedown is Amazing

I got the who Sound of Madness album when I got Second Chance. I didn't start listening to it until a friend told me they went to a concert. Now I have Leave a Whisper, Us and Them, the Sound of Madness, Dimond Eyes, and Junkies for Fame. Once I saw this, I knew I had to get it. Love the raw version of Call Me and What a Shame. Loved it on the album before this. Love Shinedown.
Amazing...

Wow Brent Smith sings with such emotion!!! He is probably the only singer on this planet who cares about his music & fan unlike other stars who care about money

I haven't bought this because I don't have money, but If I did I'd be ALL over it. Shinedown is a great band and I don't think that they sound good in this session. If you want to buy shinedown songs just go and get their regular album. I like this but it's not their best work. And I thin people need to realize how hard it is to play acoustics and make them sound as powerful as a distorted guitar. This is a good Session (in my mind) but apparently Iammarriedtojustinbeiber thinks otherwise. I wonder why? check the most critical comments.

I have not purchased this yet; I have only listened to the clips offered by i-tunes. That beings said, where's the SOUL! Man when you hear Brent belt out the lyrics of "45", the acoustical version from "Leave a Whisper", it brings chills to something deep in ya. These clips don't seem to resonate that feeling I'm looking for. I feel like they're playing as a Jazz quartet smoking cigarettes and boozing! Please go smash something, get all the pain that makes the world a challenge, and come back a re-record this album with the intensity and grit that makes me a fan of your ability.
Hopefully one of ya'll read this and takes it to heart. It might be the way it was recorded as well, who knows. I'll buy it just cause I'm a hardcore fan; however, this is not my most enthusiastic buy!
Amazing

I was expecting just a "best of" type album, glad I sampled and realized it was live! I love when a band can shatter an image on what is expected. That's what this album does, a great combo of raw music and heart. I've been a fan for years, saw them live earlier this year and this album brings me right back to the show. Download it and see another side of Shinedown, you'll be glad you did!
Do not buy !

I am a HUGE Shinedown fan. This is nothing more than a cash grab. Vocally awful.....released too soon after the original album came out. If you want to ruin "If you Only Knew", listen to this version of it. I wish I hadn't bought this. It took my favorite band and brought them down a few pegs. Totally dissapointing, pointless and silly.
