Can it really be 50 years later? His combination of poetry and music still gets me in its visceral grip. Thank you, and Congrats!!

I was in high school when this came out. My English teacher played Visions of Johanna in class. This album changed everything. It's "soul mate" was Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Rock music would never be the same after these two masterpieces.
Absolute classic but...

A total rip off of Velvet Underground.
Blond on Blond, Bob Dylan

Dylan's first of his albums to go electric. I bought it back in 1965. Recently downloaded. Fantastic recording and fun.

Dylan's Magnum Opus. One of the greatest albums of all time by anyone. Highway 61 is equally good.
The pinnacle

It's hard to pick the best Dylan album and, to be honest, this one may only come out on top because there's simply more of it. But it is on top. When I arrived in Nashville in 1977, the very first day I went to the Columbia studio just to pay my respects. "Eleven years ago, greatness happened here," I explained to the receptionist. She thought I was strange.
Bob at His VERY Best

An album for the history books, so well rounded and not one track can be missed. With such a large catalog of Bob Dylan material it is a bold statement to classify anything as "his best" but even Bob himself will tell you this is it. "One of us Must Know" is my personal favorite with its powerful chorus of cascading drums and piano, its truly a masterful composition. Other favorites include the almost "rap" like lyrics of "Stuck Inside of Mobile…." and the obvious classics like "Visions of Johanna" and "Just Like a Woman". You just can't go wrong with this one! Buy it- the whole album.

Easily one of the top five greatest albums of all time. Blood on the tracks too. Actually, can't think of an album better than this one, so it's the best.
My favorite

Bob Dylan was at his one of his creative peaks here, I think Blonde On Blonde beats out Highway 61 Revisited as far as creativity goes. It's a double LP full of great songs that stick with you forever. It's a combination of electric and acoustic. It is my favorite Bob Dylan album and my favorite tracks are Visions Of Johanna, Stuck inside of moblie with the memphis blues again, absolutely sweet marie, and Sad Lady of the lowlands.
Love it!

my father is a huge fan but I just could never get past the fact that I can't stand his voice. However he is very talented instrumentally and he is a great lyricist. Buy this album and really listen to it if you can get past his voice.

Without a doubt, this is the greatest Dylan album, or album by any artist, of all time. There is not one single dud on this album, it is absolute perfection - Bob at his creative peak.
