I hate to tell you snowdot dude, but that's country, and there ain't nothing wrong with staying in a Christian backroads, much better than those poor souls driving $500 cars in the inner city with the rap up 100%. Nothing against rap, but I prefer hunting, fishing, and praising the Lord. To all Anti- Gun people- if you took guns away, unregistered(illegal) guns would be left, and if you eat chicken, or a steak, you might want to remember they were "poor defenseless" animals, too. The southerner, out!

The only song worth anything in this selection is Yours to Hold. The others just make me mad and are not the same style as the great songs on Collide.

This is my first Christian music download. Until recently I had not delved into Christian music that mirrors the rock style I like in other music. Life events have put my faith into the forefront and this album blew me away with a message of faith through music I relate to. With music like this I don't need traditional rock with bad "messages". This will drive my workouts and faith at the same time. AWESOME!

this is a great ep, the two acoustic versions are awesome, and the guy who wrote the nickelback review obviously doesn't listen very close to music, b/c skillet lyrics are much more profound, john's voice is a lot better their messages are a lot better, and their variety of instruments gives them a much more distinguished sound i hate when people compare skillet to anyone else b/c they sound like skillet.......period
  • The Real Deal

First off, when a track on here says "Radio Edit" it's usually a shortened version of the song, probably by a few seconds, for air time on the radio (radio edit is not just limited to editing profanity). Also to the person who wrote about Skillet compared to NIckelback, that's just insane. Skillet is amazing and in some cases can be heavier than anything Nickelback. Also you can't compare John Cooper to Chad Kroeger, John has a stronger vocal range and better voice in my opinion. As for the EP, I only gave it 4 because I would have liked an acoustic version for Rebirthing or Whispers in the Dark. Skillet still rocks in the studio, and live, and I look forward to seeing them again... SKILLET TO THE MIZAX!

Skillet is indeed a christian band... iTunes is required to put a clean or explicit on some music videos and all video podcasts!

I was surprised at first when I listened to this CD. Upon buying it, I expected hardcore, heavy sounding tracks. Much to my surprise, with the exception of a handful of songs, this CD contains the most thought provoking and emotional songs I have heard in a long time, much less from Skillet. Songs like "The Older I Get", "Yours to Hold", and "Those Nights" seem to take the listener into a reminiscning scene that tears the singer apart. This CD has become one of my go-to CD's when other artists just don't cut it. Skillet is at the top of their game. Well worth the money.

Thought this was kind of odd. I love Skillet, but why not make an acoustic of Rebirthing or Whispers In The Dark? The first 2 songs on this cd sound exactly the same as each other and the one on Comatose. Yours To Hold is Probably the only one I would buy.
  • There is just something about Acoustic

Great ep. The Acoustic songs just bring out more emotion and shows the talent of Skillet to pull off these song in that way. The video is great too. I love when bands show stuff from the studio. Kind of shows their real side. Of course the Comatose album is more worth getting first, but this is a great ep to go along with it.
  • Not Nickelback

Surprised this isn't Nickelback? Me too? The songs sounds the same and the guys voice sounds the same. Then again, guys that listen to this kind of crap drive pick up trucks and live in their hometown their whole life...so what do I know.
  • Simply awesome
