If you need to buy five songs from this cd, white, can't sleep, amsterdam, aria epica, and small step on the other side. You should probably just buy the whole album though. I was tempted to give this only four stars because sometimes above and beyond throws in some stuff thats just not trance enough for me, but since this album has a majority of good songs, it deserves a 5. Not many albums you buy today can have a majority of good songs.
THis Album SLams!!

It's hard enough to find a good electronic song, much less a good electronic album. This Entire album kills it from beginning to end!!

When I saw several songs I like (Helsinki Scorchin', Can't Sleep, Amsterdam) in the track list I knew I would like this album. It is great and very relaxing for your more mellow trance moods. However, some of the songs are a tad long, but that's just me. I tend to like my songs a bit shorter because I have music ADD. :)
sah-weet (buy it)

Now, normally i would write a huge long review, but in this case there already are a ton of reviews that reflect my opinion- this album is the greatest trance/dance album ever!!!
now all we need is volume five... and iTunes, put vol. 3 on iTunes! (i couldn't fiind it)

I really liked this album. My only issue wasn't one with the music itself, which is amazing, but more one of personal taste--I tend to like vocal trance, and this CD is for the most part pure music. That's the only reason I didn't give the album five stars. And, as I said, it's more a personal taste thing, so if you like smoother trance that flows seamlessly from "jumping" songs to "chilling" songs, definitely buy this CD.
awesome!!

one of the most amazing compiliations i've heard in 2006; the collection of songs range from deep soothing beats to surrealistic dreamworlds... 5 stars!!
The best trance album out there at the moment

I have a few Above & Beyond songs and I love all of them, so I downloaded this album based on the glowing reviews and my faith in the group, and I was NOT let down. Every song on this album is fantastic--it's the kind of trance that absolutely captivates you while you're listening. It's simultaneously danceable and beautiful. I recommend buying the whole CD, but if you're just going to go for a few tracks, "Come Play Perfect," "5," "Ultarviolet," and "Amsterdam" are the best. I can't wait for the next release by Above & Beyond!
It will rock your socks off!

This is exactly what iTunes needs to find more of: the relaxing, mellow trance. Almost all of the songs flat out rock, and the mix is great for listening to in the car. However, now that we have gapless playback, I wish that they put out cds with a flow between tracks. 5 stars overall.
Anjunabeats is INCREDIBLE.....

I have definitely got to go out on that really small limb that is "writing a music review" and say that this album is probably the best compilation dance/trance album that I've ever downloaded. The songs are a mixture of sweet lyrics and hypnotic sounds that can simply take your mind to another world entirely. As one person stated in their review previously, all of the songs won't fit on your standard 80 min CD. But what I did was burn the first 14 songs onto 1 cd and then I burned the last song, the continuous album mix, onto an 80 min CD by itself and viola! I have a nice little mixture of the individual songs on one CD and the continuous mix on another. I heard about this album on MySpace while checking out the page for Above and Beyond. It's unbelievable how incredible it is. Do yourself a favor and add it to your collection immdiately!
wonderfull

...but if u buy all the tracks they are 124 minutes, so the last song gets cut off when u burn to cd.
the continuous mix that comes w/ the album is 118. but i perfer having the tracks and setting the time inbetween tracks to 0 seconds. so i can skip around but it plays as a mix, ya know
Cutting edge samples and excellent production

this album is sweet from start to finish.some of these artist i have'nt heard of but they are awsome. and of course anything with above & beyond has got to be a master piece .each song has it's own feel to it and that's rare in trance music.this is pure talent!
Lose yourself in some extraordinary tunes

The silky, smooth ambient flow that greets you with the first track guides you through a well compiled, fantastic world of good hard beats accented by easy anthems and all around soul satisfying sounds. Without a doubt this album absolutely scratches the itch for subtle tunes a trance/dance music lover, such as myself, requires from time to time.
Also, the advice given in the other review regarding the length of he album is good advice. I hope you enjoy this album as much as I do.
