Much less energy. Less atmosphere.
I love euphoric harmonies. Pumping beats too. Atmosphere is good for trance.
Above & Beyond is lower quality than Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Talla 2XLC, or Sean Tyas. Those are quality music.
Please do some super-pumping beats, atmosphere, and euphoric harmonies. I don't care too much for hypnosis, though.

Based completely on my opinion, I feel this album is not their best and I was expecting more. Below is my rating system from 1-5. I've also included how I rank the tracks from their previous albums Group Therapy and We are All We Need so you can use that as a comparison.
Rating system:
5- gives me chills, pumps me up, this song goes on a special playlist of top tracks I play on repeat
4- I'll seek this track out from time to time when I'm in the mood for it, overall great track
3- If it comes on via shuffle or album I'll let it play and generally enjoy it, but won't seek it out individually
2- I'll skip this track if it comes on, but I don't judge it as bad song, just not my type
1- Definitely skip, judging as poor quality track/does not belong with the album

Overall: Where group therapy and We are all we need get 5/5 on my rating scale - as in I get chills when I listen to the album, get the blood flowing, and would consistnetly pick these albums to listen to - Common ground gets 3/5. By all means its a decent album, but nothing wow'd me about it and for the most part after the novelty wears off it will remain more or less unplayed in my library.

Not ashamed to admit I am over 50... have been a loyal fan since 2006 and their Tri-State release. This album is absolutely exceptional. Amazing. Zoe's vocals are mesmerizing, and I am so happy to hear Richard's voice again. Just beautiful. I can't stop listening.
