VERONICA REVEALED

By JC Alvarez
I have my suspicions that the remix edits offered on this release aren't necessarily the series of offerings that the Queen of Pop herself had intended to share with fans as a companion piece to the hit album that inspired them. Although, as a fan, I'm grateful for any new offerings, the remix reworks here are familiar to those of us who shuffled to the dance floors in the waning days of the NYC club scene. These tracks were among the most inspired movements that got the crowd going, and undoubtedly ranked as the biggest club records of the era. Given the remixes that were the cornerstone of Madonna's recent "greatest hits" package "Finally Enough Love," it would have been epic to issue the full-length club versions rather than the edits. It would have made the memory of the club era all that much more electrically charged, and a bundle that would have been a hit at the the price point. Still, if marks a moment in Madonna's remarkable career of profound excellence.
Love it!

I really appreciate the selection; it brought back wonderful memories from when those tracks were first released. The sound quality is outstanding and significantly enhances the experience. It's like a comforting journey down memory lane but with a sound of today. Thank you, @madonna! 🖤

When a remix album sounds fresh decades later, you know you have a masterpiece!

The worse of all the remixes, on one album.
It was so chaotic and stressful listening to it … lol .

People dont you realize this is not the re-issue of Ray of Light?! Thats coming in 2028 with Revenge, Like a Flower and more!
This was a tease release to hold us over for M15 aka Confessions part II, The Celebration Tour and her work that will be included in The Devil Wears Prada II! Madonna has many projects in the works with a 4th Greatest Hits album, Bedtime Stories: The Untold Chapter and her biopic and eventual soundtrack. The future holds many more Madonna collectables but this was just a sample. Technically it shouldve been titled Gone Gone Gone but she threw in some remixes and called it V.E. Because she didnt want anyone to make false accusations over Gone Gone Gone’s release.
Undisputed Queen of Pop

Though this EP offer nothing new to her core fans. For the casuals, this is a good education of why she dominated not only the pop charts but also the dance charts. She is the Undisputed Queen of Pop.
Just ok

So this album was fantastic and often the remixes just didn’t measure up to the album tracks. However, that’s really not the problem here exactly, I would argue that a dance music fan doesn’t want edits. Full length remixes are what we want. And on top of that, many of these aren’t the best choices including a… dub? When there’s a fantastic regular remix? But hey it’s a fun compilation and the bonus cut should be a single with remixes if it’s own !!!

Im a huge Madge fan, but not a remix fan. I'm more than pleasently surprised with these mixes. I've been on loop with this since i got it thursday night. gone gone gone is the only unreleased track and it's beautiful.
