If they use this for their next album, I’ll lose my mind! It totally sounds like demon days era mixed with daft punk-style disco.
Great song, great message.

Song is so good! Captures Gorillaz perfectly. Has a rather sad meaning though.

It's always stuck in my head, and the video made me realize that I typically dance like 2D.
And so when I get the chance I blare this and do the dance
Always a mood lifter

Why was all of Humanz not like this? Best thing Gorillaz put out since Plastic Beach.

Humanz definitly took me a few listens to get into. I can understand why people thing its too house-y and doesn’t have the traditional Gorillaz sound, but I say they just need to listen to it more to see its brilliance. It really is a fantastic album, an evolution of the Gorillaz while still holding traces of their roots. But anyway this is a review for Sleeping Powder - which is undoubtedly a classic Gorillaz-sounding song. Beautiful and simple, catchy and dancable. I think that's why they chose 2-D to headline this one, it was a message that the Gorillaz are not lost just older and more mature. Oh well - Damon said this was probably their last album :/
