Not the same song I purchased 2 years ago

Just wanted to listen to this song and realized it's not the same song that I used to have. They replaced it! And added a tag "first pass". Maybe because this song is also in the upcoming album, Hardwired... to Self Destruct? Doesn't matter for what reason. Huge Metallica fan, but disappointed. They really don't need to do this.
Dingy

This particular song doesn't cut it for me, too transparent in the way of musicianship regarding the falsettos and overall craft of this particular song. The first song on this album is very good, and well versed by getting back to metal-basics and all of this transitional passage of "right to be the same band" isn't realistic. Musical evolution appeals to yourself as a musician or artist first, second is to appeal to the masses by diversification. No one can't expect any band to stay the same [or sound the same] or you lose fans. Metallica as a band, overall who they are is well who they are.
To Be King Again

You've got to find the guitar tone from Puppets, Justice, and Black.
It's not for you

They make music for themselves... Just like any artist/band should... If you don't like it... Don't buy it... I'm sure they could care less... I for one enjoy anything they make... Everyone wants to hear the same thing over and over and over again... If that's what you want listen to classic rock radio... Bands have to grow and change... Especially bands that have been around for 30+ years.
Kill Em Like

This song isn't bad and it's Kill Em like in a way. They just need to get rid of that Death tone and bring in Flemming Rasmussen for one last album!
Best song for the summer

Everything after the Black album has sucked, period.
Lost the sound, lost the inspiration. The songs and vocals are all forced. James cannot sing!! Especially with no effects on his voice. You had a great run guys, check please!
Boys, chill.

Bands change constantly. The fact that each of their albums sounds different is just a thing that happens. Art is experimental. The muddy guitar or strained vocals some may hear are just them trying to switch it up a bit. Sure, I can agree with the masses and say that the first 5 albums are best. But I have no reason. To rip on other albums because they are seperate from the others.
Metallica 🎲💯☠🤘

This song is awesome and hard core like the last album and the 80's Metallica material. Can't wait for their new album to drop! :)

I swear I love Metallica. Always have and always will. However, I wouldnt be true if I didnt tell you this stinks. I cannot justify listening to this to anyone. The Metallica sound is gone. Even the guitar sound is too sober. The change is not for the better. At least Megadeth is sticking to their guns. This is a S@#% storm. I just cant make myself like this. Yes! the truth is that we the fans are looking for the next black album or even Justice album. This stuff we get every several years gets worse. What the F@#% happened to Metallica. It's just weak. I do condemn the new approach. None of this new S@#% leaves Metallica as the powerhouse they once were. It's a downgrade. I hate to have to say it more than anyone, I swear it. I have always been the Metallica guy here at home. I just cant push this as the great Metallica at their best. I'm not looking for the Metallica of 83-88. I'm looking for the Metallica that put effort into their music. Seriously, No one can say this is their favorite song. All were great up to St. Anger which stunk. Thats truth! I hope they leave this off of any future albums because it is forgetable. It cannot be justified.
Bands can change ..BUT.....

Yes. Bands can change and music evolves,BUT the essence of who you are and what brought you "here" remains alive and Metallica didn't know how to do that. Give them credit for what they were able to accomplish which was amazing during the time that they had the best rock music out there. But this song is a "sad" version of them making music. It's time to retire. Don't embarrass yourselves guys :(
Really everyone?

Some one please realize that this song has a much better mix than death magnetic, kill em all style riffs, and a much better sounding new age hetfield. Appreciate what this band is now. Not what they were.
don't get it

I guess I just don't get anything about this song. Maybe they need to get all their old recording equipment out of storage and put the audio software in the circular file. I just wish they would write another album like ...And Justice For All, at least that album attempted to say something of substance. I don't care for this song.
GAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!

This is a great song! I love it! Music is great! Can't wait for their new upcoming album! I will admit though, James' vocals aren't what they used to be, but him and Metallica are still rockin' out so I'M NOT GOING TO COMPLAIN. No this isn't Master Of Puppets, but Death Magnetic was the end to a new beginning and they are continuing down that trail.
Just awful

I am a huge Metallica fan, but this is yet another disappointment from them. Might be time to hang it up in the studio...
Not amazing. But great
