Best Metal Album of the 2010s

This album is truly amazing. Metallica knew what they were doing on this one. Here are my top 3 favorite songs from the album.
3. Hardwired
The title track never disappoints with Metallica, and Hardwired is a prime example of that. It’s intense, heavy, and an overall great song.
2. Spit Out the Bone
Spit Out the Bone was featured in the game WWE 2K19. You need to be a really good song to have that honor, and Spit Out the Bone is great even on those standards. The themes of machines taking over the world heavily reminds me of Ultron from Marvel Comics.
1. Halo On Fire
This is my favorite Metallica song of all time. From the intro to the ending, it truly feels like a 10/10 song from start to finish. The riffs are heavy yet strangely pleasant (I am that kind of person lol), and the vocals add to that feeling. I could strangely sleep to it if I had to.
Didn’t need to be double disc

There are some excellent songs on here. Spit out the bone, moth into flame, atlas rise, hardwired, now that we’re dead.
Yeah, not really

I’m am one of Metallica’s biggest fans probably, but I’m not a fan of this album. There is still some good songs though, Moth Into Flame, Atlas Rise!, Halo On Fire, Hardwired. But the rest are bad. This is just my opinion. A 4/10 album, 11th favorite Metallica album.

2. Atlas, Rise!
3. Hardwired
4. Halo On Fire
5. Now That We’re Dead
6. Spit Out The Bone
7. Dream No More
8. Confusion
9. Here Comes Revenge
10. ManUNkind

I really enjoyed this album when it first came out. The hype probably helped with that but I look back and it's just pretty average. This band will never recapture the magic it had in the 80's.
Little too long

This is still a good Metallica album, but they definitely could’ve shaved off a couple songs. Here comes Revenge and Am I savage should’ve been cut, but aren’t bad songs. Nevertheless, Moth Into Flame and Spit out the Bone are fantastic, and I personally love Dream no More. Imo it’s still 5 star album.
Tallica kicking ass

Not since "Eye of the Beholder," have I been this hyped. Awesome. Yo, the first time I heard Metallica a friend lend me his phones to "The Thing That Should Not Be" (My all-time favorite) and like the girl in INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE I looked at him and said "MORE." Since then I've been hooked. Thanks, man. Really.

They’re back. Flawed, but back. Feels good to hear their trademark sound again.

It’s funny how Lars has gone almost 35 years without learning drums and only knows how to play one beat but people still like Metallica with all its flaws!!
Right Track

Halo on Fire is one of the best songs they've ever put out. Period. Not budging on that.
Spit out the Bone however..... I dont know how to describe that song. Every song ever made is the joke. Spit out the Bone is the punchline.
Unrealized Potential in Halo on Fire

I’ve heard the album and was already a fan. Recently heard Halo on Fire and realized the song has potentially unrealized potential. I think back to the orchestra collaboration with possibly a few additional instruments and you would have one of the greatest works of musical art of the modern era. Fantastic
Sounds like trash

After almost 2 years, wow where does time go, I still think this is one of the best Metallica albums ever, it’s at least in the top 5 for sure.
THE BASS THAT NEVER COMES IS HERE

The bass is finally as prominent as it was on master of puppets. They are finally treating rob with the same respect that they treated cliff with. Halo on fire and dream no more are particularly bass heavy. All in all, killer album (my second favorite after master). Keep at it guys, can’t wait for 2019 (rumored new album by then)
