this deserves 3 stars, but with the price, it gets 5.
track 1 is not a new remix. it is the same song you will find on the album. track 4 is the same thing but without vocals. would've been less disappointing had they made clear that track one was NOT new.
tracks 2 and 3 are strong.
It's about EMPIRE. Get it?

It may be slightly annoying, but isn't that the point?
We should all be as angry and annoyed as Björk seems to be in this song for what some multinational corporations and certain countries are doing. They rape, pillage and murder the world to feed excessive lifestyles that will ultimately destroy all of us.
Declare Independence!... but do it peacefully please.
This music is beautiful "form follows function" agitprop. (If you don't know what these terms mean, look them up. You will be sure to learn other important things in the process.)
Art does not have to be pretty to be beautiful.
Because all music should sound the same

This is just too weird for me. It makes me uncomfortable. That weird accent, those high-pitched noises. I should just stick to smooth jazz or soft rock. Wait, how did I get here?
Seriously, though, whatever you think about the music, this is a great value. I happen to think that the raw energy of this track fits the theme perfectly, and it is an artistic achievement. Easy on the wallet, too, with video included at $1.99. This is what makes me want to pay for music again. Much respect to Björk for having the courage to talk up Tibet in China.

I would rather watch a puppy die via small babies which where pounded into the ground until pulpy, which said pulp would then be fed to the puppies, who would choke on it and sufacate.
If you listen to this... you support puppies choking on babies.

I love Bjork, but I have to admit she does some crazy things. Most of them, though, turn out sounding very good, yet crazy, but this song just sounds crazy. It's hardly worth all the remixes. For all you Bjork haters, find some of her better songs and listen to those, because i wouldn't even recommend this to Bjork fans. Great message, and it could have been something much greater in the creative hands of Bjork, but all she's managed to do with this one so far is give me a head-ache. I expected more than just a good message. I'm glad she had fun with this one, and the lyrics represent Bjork and her personality very well, but the music is just too grating.
weird......

Overly Processed

umm, all I can say is that her songs are creepy and not a joy to listen to. The songs have no soul or voice and I can't stand listening to that overly processed music. That's not what music is to me.
Wow....

Bjork is seriously an embarassment to music.

Okay, I REALLY tried to get into this but what the f**k is this all about? I know that she is an acquired taste but either her work didn't make it this time or I am growing up. Hmmm.....

Wow this song is horible, i mean i like alternative but what is this, it left me speachless this music viedo is even worse. This girl needs to do something besides music because these songs sound like someone ran over her CD and then tried to play in in the computer. this woman needs to get real get a new job so that she can actually do something that she is good at !
She's gone. Bye Bjork.

This is more experimental than anything else. Bjork is going to far for some people. Even for me it's weird and I have been listening to Bjork for a very long time.
A intense, hard electronic anthem

The original / Mark Stent mix & Micheal Gondry's video are excellent and well worth the $1.99 album download. The song is a epic, hard electronic anthem, and the perfect encore finale during Bjork's 2007 tour. The 30 second clip doesn't do it justice, as you don't get to hear the full power of the track. The remixes are interesting but kind of weak comparitively. I wish there had been a more club-friendly / electro-house mix added to the single. I would have loved to hear what Deadmau5, MSTRKRFT, Boys Noize, Digitalism, or Peaches could have done with it.
Hey now-

Anyone that isn't aware of Bjork's music style shouldn't start out with this song. I'm just assuming everyone that gave this a one star rating hasn't had experience with her past masterpieces. Bjork's experimental nature is what makes me excited to hear each and every one of her pieces. This song is absolutely delicious, and smears an astounding message into its listeners minds. Easily one of my favorites off of her "Volta" album.
what?!?!?!?!?!?

I think I might have just died a little inside just from the preview. How can iTunes classify this as music? WHY?
