I have been an absolute diehard fan of Phil Collins and Genesis for many years. I have always loved Phil Collins' version of Against All Odds. With this said, this version with Ben's voice, sounds even better than Phil himself. It is smoother, more melodious, lyrcial, emotional, human, touching, in fact its nearly perfect. Ben should do a whole lot more recording for the masses!

Amazing cover! No wonder the NY post said it was the #8 best cover of all time. When the full group comes in and the voice changes to a lower register, it's, well, it's fantastic.

What can I say, the postal service are great! The piano, electronic POP, and singing is great. Everything about this is really good. They are great artists and should really be extremely famous because they have such an immense amount of talent. This song is fantastic and I bought it...like all the other Postal Service songs. I LOVE the postal service. Everything they do just amazes me. This song is amazing it has great lyrics and so much emotion it is overwhelming. I can not express how much i love this song and everything they do.

Of course, nothing beats the original, but The Postal Service's version of Against All Odds comes very close to it... this was the first song I ever really LISTENED to by The Postal Service and, as I'm not the biggest fan of covers, it won me over almost instantly between his bizarrely enchanting vocals and the beautiful melodic mixture it produced with the backing music. This song is very well done.
