No, it's not owl city. No one said it was owl city, and I don't think it sounds at all similar. It's like comparing harry potter and twilight; both are wonderful in their own right, but it's not fair to compare them because they're two completely different things. If you like this, (which I hope you do because I think it's pretty amazing) check out Death Cab for Cutie. Same singer, same abstract lyrics. Is it honestly worth arguing about? If you like their music, great. If you don't, go listen to what you do like!
Such great voice.

Such Great Heights is the best song on this album in my opinion. And by the way, for all the lovely people out there who say that The Postal Service copied Owl City, The Postal Service was created before they were. Just saying ;)
Fantastic

This isn't owl city and you should be severely hurt for thinking like that. They're better than the overplayed Adam young. You preppy idiots ruined owl city and fireflies.
Sorry/ but I love such great hieghts

I am extremly sorry about this! They have good tune but I find it bland and unentertaining. Well then again I only came here because of a lot of bad comments saying Postal Service was better but if you want good tunes and happy feelings then check out Owl City. Owl City is a wonderful band but I am sorry to say that Postal service is not on my Fave list.
But don't worry I do like such great hieght know that is good!

Good EP, plus you got the Iron And Wine cover, which I might add is mind blowing how one guy could take a song completly driven by computers and take it to the level of just vocals and acoustic guitar, and make it sound so diffrent in the process. I like TPS way better than Owl City, which is also a great electronica group, before fireflies, which is just bad. Sounds like a indie version of Kesha. But anyway buy this EP. And if you really like it, go for the full album
pleased!

I'm usually really picky about the songs that I buy, but I was really pleased and in love with iron & wine's mellow cover of 'Such great heights'. It's a sad, enlightened song, but i understand its lyrics really well and i can actually understand the meaning of the beautiful harmony, unlike modern day songs with lyrics about 'gettin down and freaky with your booty' tee hee. Sorry. My point is, great song~! and I do like some modern day artists and their musik, just not the...well...exploited ones...at all.
this is stupid

Soz to anyone who likes this music but in my opinion it terrible most of these songs sound like music tracks from a cheap 70's atari game. And when they do nail an original and somewhat good tune they really don't give it a wow factor. Can't believe that some ppl think these clowns sound anything like owl city.
Omg this is just like Owl City

Perfect...except for Iron & Wine being on it. Never got them, and why Sam so poorly "attempted" to cover a flawless song to begin with, I have no idea. Like Owl City, I & W has now based an entire career off Ben Gibbard's music. Were it not for that cover, no one would have given a fu*k about them, especially since Ray LaMontagne (and countless other "sensitive" singer/songwriters) already nails what Sam does, but infinitely better. So good for him I guess. Love Postal Service and The Shins but Iron & Wine is too sissy, even for me...which is why 99% of I & W fans are chicks. Disappointment to find it on this EP. SubPop is hit or miss, they had some rough years and are anything BUT consistent.
Wow, really people?

I LOVE the Postal Service. And although I love Iron and Wine also, I thought that they kinda butchered Such Great Heights. Ignore the EP--buy Give Up.
Um, ew!

The beats sound like they come from an '80's 8-bit video game.
