Great single. Classic Fuel guitar riffs with a modern twist. Excited to see what else comes from their new album.

This latest single from Fuel marks a triumphant return of primary song writer and original member Carl Bell, along with the dynamic drumming presence of Kevin Miller! I know a lot of people will jump at the fact that Brett Scallions is not in the band. Brett flew the Fuel flag while Carl was spreading his wings and doing other musical ventures. This is the new and invigorating Fuel but still the sound of Fuel we all know and love! Carl’s great guitar tones and interesting effects, and Kevin’s bombastic drumming style are a reminder of the bands successful past! New band members John, Tommy, and Mark are on their game! The catchy lyrics and emotional guitar mid section make this new single “Hard” a sure winner! Make no mistake this is the first single and only the tip of the iceberg for a great 2021 campaign for Fuel! Go see them live! Get the music! Keep the Fuel Train on full tilt, it is worth the ride!
  • Angles & Devils: Part II

re opening the flood gates of Fuel. (No pun intended) Production is slick. Everything is pretty much there, as far as it being a Top40 Rock kinda song. Yet my only problem is it’s extremely basic Post-Grunge and just sounds like it picks up where Angles & Devils leaves off. The new singer sounds nearly identical to Green, when the band replaced Scallions for the 4th album. Although, I guess I can’t complain too much that Scallions is gone, because Puppet Strings was way too Rockabilly. So, I have a feeling that’s what he wanted the direction to go into for Fuel. Fuel however, are not a Rockabilly band. They’re Post-Grunge and Post-Grunge bands need to adapt, to maintain their mainstream status’.
