Michael Buble's point

Michael Buble makes a very good point, because he's trying to get the attention about the discomfort of being homesick. He can't take the pressure of romance.

This song is actually about Michael touring when his girlfriend stayed back in the states. It inevitably led to their break up.

....I'm not really into slow songs, and I think this one drags a little bit, but I like it anyway. To all the people who think Blake's version is better, I won't try to change your opinion. But, on his family Xmas special he said Michael rewrote the song so he could sing it. Meaning: This is an original Michael Buble song, and Blake's song is just a remake. Good, possibly. I'm not really into country music, so I'm the wrong person to ask. Anyway, this is a pretty good song.

Like I said before! I love this song but the video could be better, much better. I would think it would be better if it was done in Europe and outdoors. It seems they shot most of it in one room! I think it would be more powerful if it was shot in a busy city street in the winter where he is all alone thinking of home. They should have shot it in Paris or Rome or both! Anyhow, good try and a great song.

This video is wonderful...Michael Buble' wrote the song...too many people are comparing his version to Blake Shelton's - they are both unique and wonderful, I recommend both!
No one tops Michael (:

First of all, I gave him two stars because it was original from him, but this version of "Home" is just plain stupid and irritating. WESTLIFE'S VERSION IS BETTER!

In case you didn't know, this song is about the brave soldiers in the War Zone.
Michael's emotion comes through strongly in this song, as if he had a loved one, two for me, over there.
Blake Shelton is an okay singer. But he does not compare to the emotion and smooth jazz qualitly that Michael brings to the song.

Ok so i have heard Blaks version it's not bad but it's not the same nor is it as personal. I know how it is being far from the one you love, which would make it personal to me no matter who wrote it, but the way Buble did it was top notch.
way better

This original version is so much better than blake shelton's butchering. Michael feels it much more, as he should, since he did write it...
Pretty Good

It is pretty good, but I still like the originator which is Michael Buble better. It was awesome though when Michael invited Blake to his concert in Nashville to sing it with him on stage, nice gesture on Michael's part, after all he did write this song. Knowing the true meaning behind it in Michael's life makes it so much more powerful and personal as well.....I'm so glad to see other singers taking interest in the talented writings that Michael has been able to crank out!!! Go Blake!!!
