I want to like her so much, but her music is so horrible. Her voice is really shrill and nasally; the production is schizophrenic and cheap. On the positive side, Brooke Candy is so much fun to look at and watch! Her visuals and fashion are amazing. I guess that's what you get when you hire Lady Gaga's old team ;) hopefully she can get her music up to par before while she's got some attention on her.

Unlike iggy azelea everything Brooke candy does is authentic. It is very Brooke candy and we love her and celebrate her recent success of opulence and being a part of the diesel campaign. She is an amazing artists with a wide set of talents reminiscent of Britney Spears and her rap vocals are on point and relevant. She is amazing and this EP is worth the buy! Everyone will learn to love Brooke!

really enjoyed the EP! Excited for Brooke to release a song with less LGBT references (i.e. Paris is Burning) , and more direct lyrics about pushing equality! She’s brilliant and it will be awesome to see her thoughts translate into more of her lyrics

Pop Rock is REALLY catchy.
Bed Squeak is cool… would be awesome if there was background vocals and some more melodic elements.

Brooke Candy is something of an enigma - a diamond encrusted rainbow-colored serpentine enigma. Her image is unrepentently raunchy and (in her words) "ratchet," but without ever being cheap or banal, instead transcending the implications of these superfluous labels and manifesting something much more fantastical and outrageous - the bewitching ethereal chimera of your most exotic and perverse dreams. To compare her aesthetic to that of Lady Gaga or Bjork would be uninspired and simplistic – Brooke Candy is more like an entire Cirque De Soleil production combined with the flair of a soft-core BDSM pornographic film directed by the sublime and deviant mind of Bryan Fuller (NBC's "Hannibal").
Her voice is immediately unique and her flow is seemingly effortless. The cadence and rhythmic patterns in her arsenal may seem familiar or reminiscent of past urban radio hits, but never does she sound derivative or redundant. She’s not your Lil’ Kim or Nicki Minaj or Iggy Azalea – she doesn’t aim for a precise correlation either. However, like all these women, the production of her songs in this EP does blend hip-hop and electro-pop elements to create something that can be enjoyed by both audiences. She even sings on ‘Feel Myself’ and ‘Pop Rock,’ sounding similar to Britney and Sia or Rihanna respectively, but never to the point that she doesn’t sound first and foremost like herself or like she is imitating or sacrificing her own style for the sake of the track. Brooke Candy isn’t a woman in need of classification – she doesn’t need anyone, including me, trying to compartmentalize her or limit her by qualifying her sound, style, or characteristic for her. She refuses to be nailed down to one idea and instead forms her own standards regardless of expectations and does so with a brazen boldness.
