Don't sell out again like this please, you are too unique to let go of your real voice and intelligence to cave into this pop bs. I guess it was for the paycheck..? Was just listening to your first albums thinking how great it was that you don't force lyrics, they all make sense and sound incredible. Opposite scenario with this album.. Hope we haven't lost you completely.

This is not You, Lilly

I'm not sure if I expected to much from this album, but this is definitely not Lily. It's not her sound, I miss the sarcastic lyrics and the irreverent tone. Sadly I have to say that this record sounds just like another pop star. Miss your essence in this album...
Love this album! You rock, Lily!

This album is incredible. Her lyrics are pure gold and speak volumes of our misogynistic age. Love you, Lily!! Can't wait for the next album. Xoxox
Still Lily and Still Awesome

In a world full of fluffy pop princesses, I am glad Lily Allen is still out there mocking it all. Her music is still as pop friendly as ever, but with wicked towards pop culture (Insincerely Yours, Seezus). Even her love songs this time are authentically charming as she shows us that she really does appreciate being able to stay in with her hubby and babies. Plus, I have to love anyone who will pose with corgis. Corgis are the snarkiest dogs in caninedom.
Still Has meaning not as meaningful

Ok I've always been a Lily fan and Id rather have something rather than nothing but Lily has always been pop. Nothing new. Listen to Sheezus if you want to talk trash because that's the whole basis of the record 2014 Lily cannot be the same as 2007 Lily. Her music is still clever, poignant, witty, and catchy. Nothing's changed maybe a little bit less sad single girl and thinking of the bigger picture. stop hating and let Lily evolve.

What happened to the Lily Allen we used to know!?
Slightly heartbroken

I have been listening to lily Allen since the early days of my youth, back when it was all about scene hair, teen angst and MySpace. And though we've both grown over the years, the direction this album has sent her in is backwards. Not the chick with admirable talent that I remember. Which makes me sad because all of us true lily Allen fans know this this new age pop junk isn't really her at all.

At first, I wasn't a big fan. However, it is defiantly growing on me! I LOVE the songs "As long as I got you", "Air balloon", and "Somewhere only we know". Just let it grow on you!

I absolutely ADORE this album! Possibly Lily's best yet! It starts off with Sheezus which is an amazing symphony of backbeats with Lily's wonderful voice. Then it changes tune into Close Your Eyes when it hits a more slow and sexy beat. And finally closes out with Hard Out Here which is a fantastic girl power song. Lily Allen is a complete genius and this album is a new step for her and it could not have been better!!! The Sheezus album is a beautiful melody of sounds that are lovely to listen to and to connect to. There are so many different songs that anyone could find a song they love. Love it!

I also have been following her since day 1. I used to pray for her when I'd hear about her ill health. I thought to myself, "time will tell" whenever I talked about her. So, time has passed and finally brought Lily back to us, in all her glory. She IS the same person, just older, wiser and better because of that. I find this album to be just as pleasing as the other's. Lily is at a point in life that she finds fulfillment in other ways. Who doesn't?!? Are we all not progressing through our own journey's. If anything this album is better than ever because it represents her as she is; as she has become. And the older she gets the better her talent will be.
amazing

to everyone saying, oh look lolly turned into basic pop music, you guys can shut up. her lyrics are actually meaningful. she connects her music with her personal life and not many artist do that. yes the music is pop but her lyrics do give a mean which is good in a society where our music is about having sex or doing drugs.
what happened?
