Bobby Bee on the 'Tapestry' albulm & Ms. Carole King...

ICONIC ALBULM! In every sense of the word and the reason Carole won't ever have to work EVER AGAIN in life! At least 5 of these songs went on to become Gold Standards for other artists. Here I am 50 years later finally buying it. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! As for Ms. Carole King, talk about WRITING THE SONGS?!? I'd place her up there with Bacharach & Robinson
Yeah, let's talk about Singer/Songwriters - My Top 5 (like I do everything else) - Not necessarily in order...
Ashford & Simpson- Smokey Robinson, Bacahrach/David/Sager, Elton John/Taupin & King/Goffin

This is by far the best $6.99 you will spend in your life. I can only think of maybe 9 albums that every song is amazing on. This is one of them.

This music sings from the soul. I was 9 yrs old and it takes me back to a better time. The artists of today could learn something from this album’s power and simplicity.

There is only one other 70's hit album that stayed in the Billboard Top 100 for a record amount of time.....Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon". I believe this stat still stands and is a testament to a great recording

Home Again played as Beautiful

I just bought this album today after watching Beautiful the musical. Every song is just beautiful even they are not that popular. Unfortunately, one of the songs Home Again was damaged and it played Beautiful instead.
It played the correct song as a test but not when played on the album.
Please let me download the correct song extra charge!!

This album is a pure delight whether it's 1970 or 2017. Her masterful lyrics, melodies and sweet soulful voice shines.

It's great to hear this and so many memories come flooding back. Trips back and forth to Pitt State were great for singing at the top of my lungs!!

I purchased a vinyl copy in grade school, (I would listen to it after dinner on the family turntable) an 8-track version in middle school, (parents got a new car with a great sound system) cassette in college (for playing on my boom box while painting houses with friends) and finally a digital copy. (I have it ready for my daily walk) She is a talented musician and a fabulous songwriter.
The lively tunes traveled with me throughout my life. Enjoy these songs and get your journey started!
