Back in 2013, I had just gotten into college and after breaking up with my long-distance girlfriend I fell into a deep depression. I felt trapped in a mental prison of my own making. The songs "Make a Move" and "Get Well" resonated with me and let me know that I was not alone in my feelings and helped me get through with the help of my physiatrist. We need more artists like this. Thankyou.

I found the song "sorry about your parents" on YouTube once (one of her other songs) and I just listened to it all the time. And then I heard Nerves and Hope of Morning and then I decided I wanted all of the songs. Out of this album, I love Up in Flames, Theater, and get well

One of those rare albums where every song is great!

I listened to this entire album back when I hardly knew anything about this band, and this is what got me into them. It's difficult for me to find an album where I like every song and don't have to skip through any of them. This is one of those rare albums. Scripted is a beautiful blend of modern rock, punk, and pop, sprinkled with electronics and strings. Ariel is an incredible singer and songwriter. These guys are original--they perform songs they wrote themselves, and they're pretty dang good at it. My all-time favourite song would have to be Pieces, the last song, while some stand-outs were Theatre, Get Well, The Grey (awesome ballad!), and Up in Flames. Love Icon for Hire!

This album speaks to my heart and soul...I've never had the same experience with music, not even music that I wrote myself! This will always be my favorite album no matter what else comes. Nothing could ever compare to the feeling and goosebumps that each and every song in it gave me. Keep this up Icon For Hire!! You are my new favorite band!
Love I.F.H.!

This album is great! I've been listening to it for almost 5yrs now :) I've been in love w/ Icon For Hire fan ever since I heard 'Make A Move' for the first time. Then I heard 'Get Well' & liked it even more & decided to give the album a try. Boy am I glad I did! If you haven't heard this album or their follow up sophomore album then you are missing out! I know this review is a lil late lol, but better late than never I always say! ;p
A great album to heal and replenish the broken-hearted.

This is the only album I listen to from this band. I don't like their recent songs, and I don't pay attention to their Icon for Hire album because of the electronic elements. With that being said, I believe that this is them at their best, pouring love and care into their music while giving an edgy and cheeky attitude. They give out important messages for everyone to listen to.
