Miranda does not stay true to “Texas Country” on this album, but if you are a fan of 70s “Disco” and “Country Music” then who better to mix the two than the “Queen of Country Music” herself … Miranda Lambert. And BTW she is not “trying” to stay relevant, she “Is” relevant in today’s Country Music scene 🇺🇸
Powerful Talent, Pure Country!

Been a fan since the first 2 bars of Kerosene. Never been disappointed, still not. And I love to see true artists evolve, it's a job requirement! Well done, lady!
Hand my doubts…

But no more. Love this album the more the more I hear it. Country x disco but still sounds county. Top songs for me are Two Things, Cowgirl Curtsy, Snakeskin Boots, Right Where We Left It

The songs are cute, but where’s the depth? Where are the songs where Miranda pours her heart out? The album, while decent, confuses me.

I’m not too familiar with her first stuff but I know her last album plus this one are just stunning all the way through.

Doesn’t sound country, just like Carrie’s last album. Too much synthesizing or such….canned music sound. Where’s the guitars and violins, etc?
Love the country disco vibe

She’s one of the few artists whose music I preorder because you just know it’s going to be good. And she did it! Another great country album.

Love Miranda and there’s a few gems here but WAY too much production polish. Lambert shines best in raw form.
Yuck

I’ve bought every album Miranda has put out. Not this one. Every song sounds exactly the same. Snakeskin Boots could’ve been a country classic just like Choosin’ Texas, but too much production. I understand what she’s trying to do to stay relevant, but it totally misses the mark.

What a nostalgic but fresh vibe these first few songs are. Most of today’s country isn’t my jam, but I dig this.
