Charli Yes…absolutely YES.

This woman (me) who never have been into lollipop-pop (ahem Swifties) LOVES this album. She reminds me of the greats I listened to at her age. Charlotte gets it. To a long career. Don’t listen to the flakes and cookie cutter people, girl. Be YOU. Not everyone wants to hear American pop (and yes, I’m American).
classic, timeless, and cutting-edge

ugh I just feel like Charli is such a wonderful balance of an old soul but also SUCH a modern thinker. She took me to heaven like it was 2007!

Everybody hates it currently, but I think it's a really nice piece of work. It's not perfect of course but I feel like that's kind of obviously intended. I feel like in a number of years people will revisit and come to appreciate it for what it is.
Mmmm

I love Charli but I’m just bored by this era. I just don’t feel excited when I listen to it. I’ve tried and it just doesn’t move me unfortunately. It doesn’t feel exciting or visionary or unique. It kind of sounds corny most of the time.

So I mean it’s not that good but I feel like people don’t need to hate on her for it, she can sing however she wants
Absolutely revolutionary and artistic

I think some people see “for the arts” as this comparison to artistry, but in reality we aren’t saying the music is more music than other music, no. At least what I mean, is that Charli is embarking on a more (some consider elitist) educated, curated, and analytical art. She’s taking a note from the likes of ateliers in bespoke fashion to auteurs in film, to situate herself in-between the greats of all of the arts studied in great length. All great art comes from quintessential moments and this album is from a guild of artists. It’s both a thesis and an entry application to her favorite citations/references. Great and respectful thinkers ask permission of themselves rather than inserting themselves into the elite class of notable creatives. That’s what makes this album so interesting because it’s antithetical of her last (brat), but also declaring her own bespoke & elite education.
Charli has set the standard once again.

Charli has shown evolution as an artist and songwriter. She has outdone herself again.
Absolute Art

Hearing her sound progression is like watching a child grow up in the sense that once they hit a certain age they obtain adult freedom. This sounds like freedom and I’ve never been more touched by an album in my entire existence. Thank you for the art, I feel changed after hearing this for the first time in theaters and now in my playlist.
she gets it

some of yall swifties or swiftie adjacent heads are shoved so far up your own *** that you need something to be extremely basic and vague or fitting to your exact standard of “pop” or in this case brat’s “electronic” influenced sound. charli is proving yet again she can and always will be ever changing as an artist- some things other artists can’t, and will
not, be ever to achieve. music, fashion, film is an amazing body of work- stay mad!
ignore the swifties

swifties spamming these reviews with low scores because they know their fave can’t put out anything decent! this is charli at her absolute best, clears brat and any project previous. My only complaint is i wish some songs were longer!!!
