Another Great AC/DC Album

This album came out the fall after I graduated high school and as a huge fan I bought it. I didn’t have the money then to have bought all their albums, but I had Hells Bells, Back in Black, and Live. This made it into the rotation really quick. It has some great songs. From Hard As A Rock, Boogie Man, Hail Cesar, and Ballbreaker to Cover You in Oil. This is ANOTHER CLASSIC!

Hail to AC/DC.
Ballbreaker was even better than The Razor’s Edge.
Hard as a Rock is the perfect introduction to a ball-breaking album. The opening riff is enough to make even the weakest of men feel powerful.
Cover You In Oil is as naughty as it is epic.
Whiskey on the Rocks is the song that wakes me up in the morning.
Hail Caesar should be played during Roman history lessons!
Boogie Man scares my friends it’s so cool!
Ballbreaker is the harder-than-stone, cranium-rattling album that is AC/DC in a nutshell.

Ballbreaker was ACDCs last album of the 20th century and saw the return of the main drummer Phil Rudd. The overall tone of this album is bluesy and dark but still heart pounding and head bobbing. Amazing hard hitting riffs and jamming choruses will have you finishing the last song before you even realize the album is over. As an avid ACDC fan, this is a must have for your ACDC album collection. Some of their best sounding songs from the later albums.
Love this !

In midst of 90s grudge Acdc gave us hard rock . Some very cheesy lyrics but this is Angus at his best .
Harder than a rock!

If you were living in the 90s and you were loving the razors edge chances are that you might have been disappointed with this one as it is their most bluesy album and if you only like the harder power driven AC/DC this album isn't for you but if you appreciate both sides then you will love this album
Awful

One song album. Repeat the title of the song, repeat the title of the song, little guitar riff, repeat the title of the song, ........ugh.
Insanely underrated!

I have the complete AC/DC catalog and can say that are my all time favorite band. Out of all the albums I always keep coming back to this album. The production is full and punchy with great bass response. You can almost picture the boys recording these songs in a dark dingy room with smoke lingering in the air and empty beer mugs. Despite AC/DC's raw style, this album is a polished recording and in my opinion is their last "great" album.
Heavy and noisy

Have to say I was a bit let down when this was released back in 95. After the highs of The Razor's Edge, AC/DC Live and the "Big Gun" single, I was expecting more. "Hard As A Rock" is the best song and even that took awhile to grow on me. Brian Johnson's voice had deteriorated since the last time around, and he sounds really ragged here (thankfully he's since improved). Some of the songs spiral down into noise in the last minute or so - namely "The Honey Roll" and "Caught With Your Pants Down", and many just aren't that memorable. There are some high points, though, in "Hail Caesar", "The Furor" and the crunching title song. How much you enjoy this album depends on how much you like the band - if you're a fan, it will grow on you, if not, this is not the place to start.
Awesome

Definatley buy this album, but come on reviewer, Back In Black came out in 1980 not 1983. Get your facts straight.
Typical Post Bon Scott Release.

While not a dog, waiting 5 years from The Razors Edge for this, is a downer. There are 3 really solid tracks here but they don't save an album that for me, is the worst from the band; Ballbreaker, Caught With Your Pants Down & Hail Caesar. The rest is just kinda lame.
Best one

All tracks are good. AC/DC is finally here. In my opinion this is their best.
