Divisive upon its release, Linkin Park recognized it couldn’t do Hybrid Theory or Meteora forever and went for a new sound. There’s something for everyone on this album.
Hands Held High, In Between, In Pieces, and The Little Things You Give Away are probably the weakest songs on the album. Luckily, they’re near the end and you have a solid run of 8-10 tracks before the dip in quality.

I enjoy all the songs on this one!
Very sad that Chester gave up on life if that's really how it ended. His lyrics can be deeply sad so it doesn't really surprise me to be honest.
Mastered for iTunes version is horrible

They've changed the sound for some of the pieces such as the iconic Shadow of the Day. I had to actually buy the disk to grab the originals.
One of my favorites

So I had a 3 page essay comparing and contrasting Louis Armstrong and a more recent band/artist. Right away, I knew I was gonna write about Linkin Park. I just love all of their music- it's so relatable. And unlike many artists, their music is different. They don't just wear out one genre, they have multiple voices. They are THE BEST of the best!
