I use albums such as "The Black Album", "The College Dropout", "Amerikka's most wanted", "Straight outta compton", "The Eminem Show", "Raising Hell", "Low End Theory", "The Score", "Mama said knock you out", "Fear of a Black Planet" as examples of Hip Hop classics. This ranks among them. Common is an unheralded artist.

Besides the satanic symbolism in the cover; it's a beautiful album. This is real hip-hop folks.
Exceptional album from visionary artist

While it is important to commend Common for his clever wordplay and smooth rhymes, it is also worth giving a lot of credit to No I.D. and James Fauntelroy for making contributions to the album that make it what it is. All around amazing album.
