Wow, this album snook up on me! I just got the legendary album! As always AZ always outdoes his self! after like 11 or 12 albums in, i'm never disappointed! I look forward to my man dropping heat! I said it then and i'm saying it now, AZ the best! Love Nas, Jay, Big and other cats, but, AZ just put me in a whole other zone! His lyrics reflects a life you can definitely live, hands down! AZ is like Lebron, everybody say Jay the best like Kobe, but, Az keep showing the rap game he is dominant in the game!
FIRE!!!!

AZ is in the top 3 of most underrated emcees to ever grace the mic. He is a lyrical crap shooter always coming up large. AZ's last four or five efforts have been critically acclaimed, without much promotion, or full scale tours. G.O.D is amazing. AZ for many years has crafted a confident flow with, intelligent, wise, and thematic visions of street life. He's stood strong as a true and gifted rhyme sayer. Maintaining a authentic refelction of positivity of one's life can be heard in his lyrics. But, he isn't any slouch... in the street, or on the mic. This album has great beats and better lyrics. This should easily be an album of the year for anyone. Buy this.

Another classic! AZ has been one of the most consistently strong rappers in history. One of the most underrated rappers hands down.

Tha god AZ comes through with another solid effort. That's two releases in a month. The production on this album is decent but the guest appearances are heavy. AZ as always handles his biz in tradition AZ form. He is truely a GOD MC. His flow is flawless. If you are an AZ fan cop the album. I wish AZ would get sign to a major and get the recognition he deserves, as one of the best and most consistant MC's in the game.

Substance and creative writing. A timeless piece of work. Hip Hop for real and at it's finest. One of the best emcees to bless the mic. To bad it will collect dust because of whack music like Lil Wayne, The Dream, etc...We have lost our music and it hurts. Thanks to AZ for keeping Hip Hop sane and pure!

This is a good album...the production on it is better than the last album Legendary. But there's too many no-name features that bring the quality of the album down a notch. Definitely an album for all AZ fans, but not for new listeners. Although it's a good album I still wouldn't say that it's one of his best albums as an artist. Still none the less...it's a solid listen.
Buy This Album!

AZ really delivers on this one. I do not write reviews but this one deserves it. Every song is dope. Stories, laid back joints u can smoke joints to, production is hot, lyrics are classic but vicious. perfect amount of songs NO FILLER NO CLUB JOINTS but that two step music with your patron in hand. I mean its not a classic all time greatest alb but is a classic AZ alb, arguably his best... This is Grown Man music you can ride around in your Audi A8 or 7series Beamer, blow a cigar, ride around with a bad chick pouring the Moet in a red plastic cup music! Invest your money in this and I promise you will not be dissapointed.. Mix one part Nas (it was written era), one part Jay-Z (in my lifetime era) = AZ (G.O.D. era)
AZ....wow

What can I say... AZ at his best. Probably the best lyricist out no doubt.

I've been an AZ fan since his first verse on Nas' "Illmatic" album. From there his own album though quite astonishing have been over-looked. This emcee has blessed the hip-hop world with gems from the time of Doe or Die to even this new album today. I think as an artist, AZ has never failed us, and he deserves the honor and respect a true emcee warrents.
Great Album for AZ

This indeed is a really good album and definitely worth the listen and buy. However, there are some other great Hip Hop drops out there if you're willing to listen. Check out the Strange Fruit Project...really soulful, positive hip hop without the profanity. Also, check out Verbal Seed, Oddisee, Foreign Exchange (w/Phonté from Little Brother), Almost September, and many more!
Consistent rap!

Always been underrated....Rap game needs to start showin son some respect. He's had a couple of dud albums, but 4 the most part he's as solid as it gets in the rap game. Much love to AZ who came up w/ Nas, Jay, and big check the Dead Presidents Jay-Z bid....homie gets much love from the legends of rap.
