Not the typical clipse record. Like many clipse fans out there, I like the dark edgy lyrics but at the same time you have to switch things up a bit. Everytime I play this song in my ride it makes my day a little better especially during this day and time. Can't wait for the album!
LUV THIS TRACK!!

The rapping on this track is mediocre--another pair of rappers talking about money, cars, clothes and hoes--but the BEAT and Pharrell's background vocals make this an awesome song. Pharrell is a genius.!
I'm Good is TOO GOOD!

I'm sure many of you clipse fans will disagree, but this track is a big let down. I respect the clipse greatly for there classics like we got it 4 cheap vol. 2 and Hell Hath No Fury, but this garbage compared to those works. The clipse sound tired on "I'm Good" with only a few nice lines here and there, opposed to the abundance of classic lines found in Hell Hath No Fury or even we got it 4 cheap vol. 2. The Clipse sounded as fierce as ever on there last studio album with each track being harder than the last. They were out to prove something and they proved that they made the best album in 06' and top 3 rap albums durings 2000s. Something went wrong though, No one heard the album except a handful of people which is unbelievable because the clipse did everything right. They had the best set of neptune's beats in years on their album with classic lyrics that practically no one could match, but very few people bought the album. Fast forward to 09' and the clipse are trying to become relavent to the mainstream like they were with Grindin'. With cameos from Kanye and now this the clipse want record sales, but with all the determination they put into their past work and their issues with their former record label has finally caught up to them. The past two singles they sound overly complacent and it seems that the duo is finally begin to wear down, but hopefully the rest of the album wont be as bad. I'll still have respect for them no matter what happens.
Awesome

"Girls cut their eyes/ We call 'em Samurais" -Push Ton The chords on this song are genius (Thanks Chad), as well as Pharrells vocals which change frequency all throughout the song. How could that guy say this beat sounds like all others this year? I like that the Clipse are focusing on optimistic things in life. Look forward to the release in Septermber 2009. The instrumental should have been on the CDS as well, though, write if you agree with that.
Classic!
