Great effort after losing Bachman and this was a favorite of mine back then . As i mentioned in my previous review of" Amercian Woman" they proved they could keep your interrest for more than 4 minutes on that and this. Download the song "share the Land"

I keep on reading music reviews from iTunes that don't even come close to those of the people that listen to the music, every review here has 5 stars.
  • What's the age of the idiots who review these albums? 12?

Songs don't age well? C'mon! It's history. It was in a time of social unrest and opposition to a war. I seriously doubt the credibility of the iTunes reviewers. I believe the Guess Who had tremendous talent vocally and instrumentally - and they had depth to their songs. It's amazing to me that your critics jump Dave Loggins's debut album calling it "the Band-lite." Obviously a slam on one end of the spectrum for being commercial, then pull a comment out of the hat about the Guess Who. I D I O T S. Hire some older reviewers to cover aged albums.

I am a young teen but like music from the 50's 60's and 70's. I knew the songs American Woman, and Share the Land but did not know who wrote these great masterpieces. When I found out it was The Guess Who I listened to this album and others and started enjoying more of thier songs. This is good music for all ages.

The tour from this album was my first concert ever at the Rochester War Memorial. The album is great - Cummings voice is excellent and the guitar sound is much better than expected after Randy B. left the band. Everyone talks about American Woman as the definitive lp from this band but I have always liked this better.
