This album is a classic in it s own rite. No sophomore slump for Joel as his writing and performance are brilliant. Big hits on this one, but I like the lesser gems like "Until The Night", quite possibly the most underrated song ever.

Great album. Very. Many of Billy Joel's CDs is great. But the error is that every song has a one second delay. Fix this bug please. And 52nd Street, the song, takes so long to finally end when the song is over. Please fix things, but this album is great. I love it and Billy Joel...

This is a great album. Songs like My Life and Big Shot are classics. Some of my other favorites on here include some of his little known hits like Honesty, Until the Night, Rosalinda's Eyes, Stiletto, Zanzibar, and Half a Mile Away. Billy Joel is truly an amazing storyteller. All his songs are poetry to my ears. Still one of his best albums that totally deserved the grammy for Best Album of the Year. My other favorites, of course, will be some of his 80's material.

He was at his best in the 70's. Although my favorite album is probably Glass Houses released in 1980. And pretty much every song on here is good.

This album highlight's Billy voice at it's best. In Until the Night, he moves through 3 octaves, building into a crescendo that has so much emotion I get chills every time I hear it. He's roaring in direct confrontation with Richie Canata's amazing sax solo. The build is almost orgasmic.
