Im only 26 but luckily my parents raised my listening to good music. I've known Prince's discography since I was about 12. This is such a good collection of his works, although, yes, single edits. Now we just need the Gold Experience album so I can't get P Control on my phone ;)

I was excited to download these songs to my phone. I was only able to get 24 of the 40+ songs listed. This was not advertised at all. I'm very disappointed but not with the music I received. Disappointed in the quantity not the quality.

It may seem steep, but getting this after the great man's death makes sense. Yes, some edited versions on the first two "discs" but it's a close to complete view of his 70s-to-80s work (then go buy all the actual albums you can find!). The b-sides are often better than the best work of his contemporaries. The most sardonic Christmas song ever. Many appearances by the mysterious Camille. Not one, but two songs from a dog's point of view. And they are all brilliant.
