I hate to leave this review. I have been a Josh Groban fan for decades and have seen him in concert. I have also preordered every one of his albums, but no more. His last few albums have been very uninspiring and forgettable.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. Groban’s voice is so pure. I love each and every song!!!!!! I have tickets to see him live in Las Vegas and cannot wait. If you Love Josh Grobans voice like I do then download this album. You will love it too.

I'm sorry but his 1st 3 albums were his BEST!!! The 2nd album to me has always been his #1 album!! He doesn't sing like he used to! He doesn't hold the notes anymore and if he does it's not a solid beautiful sounding long note. I just don't care for the way he delivers his songs anymore. I want to hear the voice he used to have . . . back!! "Remember When it Rained" has been my all time favorite!! Another awesome song . . . "You are loved"!!!! Then there is the song "Awake"- Beautiful, gorgeous, and his delivery of the song was a WOW!! . . . he doesn't deliver like these anymore. His re-make of "Skyfall" is very disappointing. Would have expected so much better! Sorry Josh. Come on, I would say you need to take a good pause and really reflect on the music you are putting out. My opinion.

Dignity is knowing when to hang it up and realise that it’s time to bow out, and for Mr. Groban that time is now. His voice was never overly controlled or lacked strain, but this new album just gives the listener all the evidence needed to retire this vocalist to a pasture far away. I mean come on Josh, why are we doing these covers? Surely you don’t need the money, and the lazy arrangements and the phoned in sound, let it go. The voice in this album is raw, unrefined, lazy, untamed and forced, I’m honestly surprised Groban has vocal cords left to speak let alone “sing”. My opinion may be unpopular, or unwilling to be accepted but retirement is the best option for Mr. Groban and leave us with the memories of his former self to sooth our troubled nerves caused by this atrocity of a release.

First, the cover of Skyfall demonstrates how singular Adele is and how no one should ever attempt to cover her. But Groban's version is especially rancid and devoid of drama and thrill. But the bigger issue is he sounds as if he's just in the studio doing a little something, as in making no effort to move through the marerial and channel his spirit. I loved his earlier work. This just smells like entrreprenurial spirit and not art.
