I miss the R&B The Weeknd 😭

I miss when he actually made R&B music, the past few years all his music sounds like 80’s pop why is this the new trend?? Trilogy and Beauty Behind the Madness were masterpieces. Starboy wasn’t terrible, but his latest stuff has just been off

Why does he have to make a 80’s song.
Every popular song ever is a repeat.
It’s upbeat love song, compared to his older depressing works.
It’s refreshing. He seems to have found happiness. It conveys in his new songs.
Truth is, you do not even know what you want either. You are not content with yourself.
So why would you ever be satisfied.

As expected, he stuck with the previous formula which is continue to making 80s inspired songs. Boring.

Boring

Same old style with no growth whatsoever. Tired of his high-pitched, whiny, quivery voice.

So beautiful, and I’m so happy he released an acoustic version. Also very excited to see how this fits into the album as a whole!

My king is back! Clean beat and nice song! Should’ve come out in the summer. But still a banger.
