RAP stands for Rhythm and Poetry, something Nicki Minaj has given us her whole career. Unlike other mediocre “rappers” “hip hop artists” she actually writes what she spits and isn’t trashy and makes the genre look bad. Some artists like Cardi B should take notes!

Really disappointed in Nicki. She’s given more before… she’s lost her touch. I think she needs to take a fresh, new approach.

One thing I appreciate about Nicki, is how she uses her music to tell her story. As a Nicki fan, I appreciate that I can always go and listen to Nicki and it’s not just music, but like an audio history book of Nicki Minaj. A book that just keeps on getting better. With that being said, I feel as though ‘PF2’ is the perfect follow up to ‘Queen’. 👌🏾 You can not only hear the maturity in Nicki’s construction of bars but in her story as a whole. I love how vulnerable she went by opening up and painting the picture of the pain from losing her father on “Are you gone already”. The opening song is so heavy. Not just from listening to the hurt of Nicki’s life, but also being so easily able to relate it to your own. As heavy as the opening is, Nicki does a wonderful job at transitioning the mood to a “I’m still that bxtch” tone with follow ups “Barbie Dangerous-Beep Beep”. It’s amazing how Nicki can elevate her sound and sound so different from her younger self while still remaining true to the brand. Overall 10/10 ⭐️👍🏾
