She sounds like Billie Eilish, but WORSE. (If that’s possible). What happened to the Disney star we all knew? Dove has gone from 15yo Disney Princess, to just about every other music artist in the modern age. Singing about relationships, and heartbreaks. I use to like Dove as an actress, but this is just terrible. The lyrics make sense, but in her voice, it sounds so stark, incoherent, and bland. She practically whispers the song. I can’t believe she has fans. I know that I’am NOT one of them. I used to be, back when she was good. Sorry. Not sorry. But her music is utter trash.

I’m sure that this is Dove on her way to being a pop star like Taylor Swift. I really hope she continues this journey and stays unique. Also, Dove is not an Olivia clone. And this music is not complete trash. She should be on the radio by now! Perfect EP Dove. We love you way too much to tell you your music is so bad. Because it’s wonderful! Keep being yourself and making more music! Also release that album please and thank you!

Wow, this is great. Most of the songs have good beats and lyrics, it’s a very powerful album as well. Very impressed by this album especially bc it’s Dove’s first release. I’m not sure why people say she is like Olivia Rodrigo or Sabrina this is nothing like their music, I think people are just saying that bc the three of them are from Disney. Anyways it’s a great album and sounds good. I’m just waiting for volume two. Extra note: Dove, or her crew, should have spent more time on getting the album out there and in peoples’ faces, bc if I didn’t take an interest after listening to boyfriend a few times I would have never known about it.

I feel like Dove has made an HUGE improvement. She is thriving and showing a new side of herself that she wants us to see because it’s here and it might be here to stay. After Cameron died, I feel like a new person broke through her sweet side. She’s no longer blonde hair, Descendants Dove. She’s a new person and I LOVE that she feels that the past doesn’t always have to tell the future. Alchemical is a GREAT album. I love Dove for who she was, who she is, and who she will become. It’s a new chapter of a beautiful life.

I only purchased Sand. I might buy the rest of the album, not sure yet. All I know is “Sand” is one of those songs that takes you to another place. You’re welcome to get tied up in the lyrics if you want, but the sounds is hauntingly refreshing. There will be comparisons and I draw my own honestly, but to sum this song up into one word: Nostalgic (and not the way you think)

Dove Cameron’s music has been appalling all around. I don’t know how else to say this, but it just… sounds awful. Everything she’s done sounds heavy, muddy, and lifeless, even her softer songs. It sounds like the musical equivalent of a cement brick, and it doesn’t help that she sings in that indie-girl whisper voice, which removes any emotion she’s trying to evoke.
For every successful Disney star’s music career, there’s always at least one who falls flat. For every Miley Cyrus, there’s an Ashley Tisdale. And just as equally, for every Olivia Rodrigo, there’s a Dove Cameron.
