But haven’t we heard this somewhere before? This is a thin rewrite of The Miracle. I loved U2 when they explored new territory and wrote material that differentiated itself from their past work. Maybe they’re still in remake mode after that last album?

I am about the same age as Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry....I also work with music. I can relate as an aging person the challenge it is to "create" revelant music, that is fresh and new. Some people never truly "get" U2....too bad for them. There is a whole lot of us who do. Most U2 followers LOVE the song, and everything it stands for!

When I first wrote my review, I think the clip had something wrong with it ... there was a break near the end that sounded like it was from a different song; kinda ruined the mood. Seems to have been fixed (or maybe my laptop was being glitchy). At any rate, now that I've heard the whole thing, I love it! Nice, clean, energetic rock and roll. Yum.

Atomic City is Awesome! These guys rock and are definitely my favorite band. They’ve been doing this my whole life. I love them and I wish I could go see them in Vegas

I'm glad U2 still has a massive audience. Truly! They were extremely important to me thru the 80's and 90's. Something shifted...maybe when they started re-mix dance club versions of their songs. Anyways...the new track doesn't sound any different than their last two albums which I've never been able to listen to more than once in one go.
Times change. Music changes. I've changed...and U2 has changed. I'm glad for the albums they put out that did pump me up.
Hope they enjoy their Vegas act

The best U2 has sounded in years. Fun, energetic, with a great baseline by Adam and Larry’s characteristic drumming pushed forward in the mix by producers Lillywhite & Jacknife Lee. Also, loved where Edge’s (too short) guitar solo was heading. More like this, please, on the next album. “And if you’re dreams don’t scare you, they’re not big enough.”🎶

People will always ask those that make music for a living, "Why are they still doing this- they're in the 60's...?" The answer is simple- The drive to create is too intense to stop; at any age. When the art is taken away it's like a vital oragn has been removed. To all those fortunate enough to make music their living- I salute you. Here's to U2 for keeping it going- you gents keep the free worlds rockin and the not free worlds hoping! (Except I disagree with the decision to be doing your Vegas dates with out Larry- Edge, Adam and Larry wouldn't do it with another singer- Just sayin.) One love.
