This album is FIRE!!! I’m not even a big Country fan. I appreciate most forms of music, Country included. These songs are full of passion and the performance matches that passion. I’ve spent a lot of time listening to this album repeatedly from start to finish and over again. I’m no authority on the genre, but I think this album is my favorite of Chris Stapleton. Thanks for the great music, man!

In todays world of country music where true talent often falls short, Chris Stapleton is not only heads above current artists, but stands as one of the best ever! What a song writer and lyricist!! A Treasure! This is a great album and does not disappoint.

I am an All-American Country Fan. That is why I am writing this review. I mean, Chris, Beyonce sings better country than this. You could do better. “Think I’m In Love With You” is like nails on a chalkboard to me. “White Horse” is the most terrible track in this album. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please improve. -Adeline Rairden

Best of Stapleton's albums

To all you CS haters out there: most of it is country, but that is not the important thing. The important thing is that they are all fantastic songs. Stapleton has found a home rotating from country to rock (White Horse) and pop (Think I'm In Love With You). A fantastic album and well worth the cost.

I’m a fairly new fan, and think Traveler was something to be reckoned with and then Starting Over was even more spectacular. This album doesn’t match the excitement and particular rawness that I so loved. Maybe there are a few tracks that are even better, but overall as an album and what he’s capable of, I was disappointed. Too sanitized, too standard. He’s a great talent and maybe if the mediocre music was stripped out this would be great.
