Wish the single track was available, I’d even pay double for it considering the length of the track. Just can’t spend that much for one song.

  • Cash Grab?

If the super deluxe edition contained all live tracks available, I would have already purchased this set without hesitation. The deluxe editions contain many live tracks not on this set, a couple of which cannot be purchased individually. I am not buying 3 albums just to have all available songs. The super deluxe should have included all 5 complete shows. I would even pay more money for that. Thankfully I have Apple Music and will continue to stream this set. The only way I will purchase the super deluxe is if the other 3 live shows become available as stand-alone releases.

Great to hear the Ritz and Vegas live shows. The Illusions I and II remastered tracks were done really, really well. November Rain sounds amazing!

  • Cost to much

That price is high for an album that doesn’t have better sound quality Apple side.

Are you serious what is this a money grab but I have to admit the remaster sounds great this album never sounded better I actually listen to whole thing

  • Great Collection

Including the Ritz '91 show was a great idea. The Illusion songs get showcased and they sound more electric live. The '92 Vegas show is more uniform than their previously released '87-'93 album. The collection might've been improved if the group of Illusion demos known to be in existence would've been tacked on as well, making this set more collectible by releasing previously unheard tracks available to the public. But overall the Illusion Super Deluxe is a reminder of how great GNR was in the studio and concert during their popularity peak.

Axel's voice just kills the good song writting this band made. Squeaky high pitch falsetto the is like nails on a chalkboard.

Bands energy and vocals are great. Really shows why they are so powerful as a band. Great concerts and if only there were more live albums like this

  • Nothing new and noteworthy

  • Awesome Upgrade!

After owning the originals cds from 1991, I just had to have this upgrade. Furthermore, the complete live shows are awesome! I love the fact that the first live show released here was the show at the Ritz. You can feel the intimacy the band has with the crowd in this small venue and the excitment of the huge tour that was to come. Its so much of a different feel than say the Wembley or Paris shows. One thing I do have a problem with the 2022 remasters is there is not enough bass. I have listened to these tracks on headphones, car stereo and home stereo and I guess I just wanted to feel Duff's Bass & Matt's Drums thumbing louder than the 1991 versions. These releases are definately brighter and louder but lacking the bass punch. I do agree with Imperial Dog, that it would of been nice to have the Paris, London and Rio songs on this release as well but 77 tracks is a lot.

Make this a worthy purchase and not a money “grab” The two shows are fantastic!

I think the money grab is in the fact that the "Deluxe" versions have live tracks that are not on the "Super Deluxe" ... I would think that for $44.99, I'd be getting all the live tracks available.

  • Guns and roses at the peak of their powers before grunge hit and the band self destructed.

A must buy if you don’t own it. If you own the use your illusions records then the live recordings are great. I went to the show in 1991 at the Roxy. Now called Webster hall in nyc. So it brings back great memories. This is guns and roses the biggest band in the world at the time. before nirvana and the whole grunge Seattle movement and alternative rock came and pretty much dominated the early to mid 90s musical landscape. Guns and roses was quite possibly the last truly great rock n roll band. The sexpistols of their time. And what a great time it was.

People are calling this a money grab but their are some excellent live covers that they played live that I am not aware of being released before. I won’t buy the whole thing since I have the originals but will definitely pick up a few of he covers. If you don’t have the original, this is a great starting place for a band that was at its prime.
