I remember when thgis came out. I was stunned! I bought it immediately but, alas, my record disappeared. I have no choice but to buy it again. Yes, it's by far their best. Strange Days comes close. After that, Jim's drinking, drugging, and mental problems took over so that his sparkle was reduced to sporadic. This is the first - and the purest - Doors album.

You can truly feel the rebellion, the spirit, the music in general, this album defines what it means to break boundaries and very few peices of work even come close to the magnum opus of “the doors”
