She’s a little too exploratory here for having such a fresh career. She needs to keep spreading her roots before deviating so drastically. I’m sorry but chicken teriyaki is the dumbest thing to sing about. The last thing the music world needs is more meaningless lyrics and a focus on beat. I like her fusion of flamenco and urbano but this is just too strange of a direction. It’s borderline cringe. She takes pride in constantly working and that may be the very problem. Breaks matter. Constantly trying to come up with something new causes burnout and poor quality 😖

Words of advice if you read my personal opinion on this album.
Don’t jump to conclusions and judge the album when you are listening to one of the songs.
Listen to the songs one or two or even three times, to dissect this incredible master pieces, in a innovative modern, Kayne West/ Ye meets Lilly Allen but in Spanish.
I’m Latino and I grade this album 10/10
Because it brings all elements into one.
Rosalía hits the ballads hard with the “Reggaeton” & then she surprises with soft ballads.
Leaving you in all type of feels.
Her “flamenco” is integrated is not lost in this album.
But we get to listen to a new transformed Rosalía
This album is her album. This is her heart and emotions and artistic thoughts blended.

Even though I don’t know much Spanish I really enjoyed this album more than any other body of work out there from this year. Much love to her and her team for finding such a unique sound. I can’t wait to see one or each song live and see how well she can execute and groove to her well bodied sound. 🤍
