brave soul is truly one of the greatest edm songs ever

I was blown away by Brave Soul listen to it!!! One huge problem i have with the album is almost every single song on here is a love song. I wish ILLENIUM wrote sincere personal songs like Porter Robinson does. Every single song doesnt have to be a love song because the album gets stale after hearing one love song after another.

Beautiful and remarkably made this man just doesn’t stop went from being who’s illenium to everyone having his Jersey and headlining in just a few years. Mans a legend from hard music to soft vibe music he has it all
Easily top 3 album of the year

One the best EDM albums from top to bottom in a long time!
Good album, but bittersweet

Obviously no artist can create the same exact albums/music over and over. They would get tired of making it and the fans would get tired of listening to it. Each of ILLENIUM’s first 3 albums had great story telling, as if every song was connected to the next. Seems that wasn’t here unfortunately. Fallen Embers is filled with good songs but lacks in the story telling. I think now more than ever we are seeing him expand out into the mainstream space, testing the waters out, but it’s not necessarily bad. Overall a good album

Actually a perfect album and something for everyone. No matter what you like to listen to, you’ll find something here. Anyone hating on this album just has a super narrow view and expected him for some reason to make an album the same way he did in 2016 which is just not the case for ANY artist.
Solid

Excellent album, relevant to what everyone has experienced over the last year and a half. In My Mind, Crazy Times, and Brave Soul are a few of my favorites.
Okay, but not what I expected/hoped for

I wanted to actually give a 3 star rating, but Illenium has made so many of my favorites that I couldn't do it to em. My expectations were probably way too high. I don’t blame him for experimenting with new sounds and everything - that’s just what happens as careers progress. I’m also annoyed by the length… 55 minutes? I’ll still support Illenium either way. My highlights so you can tell whether I’m biased or not are (alphabetically): Blame Myself, Losing Patience, Paper Thin, and U & Me. The rest are somewhat passable imo.
Disappointing

I would give this album a higher rating were it not for the underwhelming vocals and lyrics in the songs. The music itself is great, but that’s all this album has to offer.
Love this Album

Very repetitive song structure across the board. Mediocre album overall. I have a few favorites- Lay it Down with Krewella is probably my #1 favorite
Mind = Blown
