Lots of artists are locked in to their ‘brand’ these days. The music scene has a tendency to become stagnant at times because of artists selling their mostly persona, not their artistic ability. It creates a divide for some fans who become confused as they no longer recognize true artists from ‘one trick ponies’. You can tell a true musician by their scope of musical ability and MGK has proven to be a very impressive musician - not just an artist, but musician. Not many people can handle jumping genres, let alone executing it well. This man has done it right and I feel he will continue to do so. Any bad reviews are based on the limited scope of the listener, not the artist himself. MGK has staying power. Keep exploring and keep those hits coming.
NEVER GO AT EMINEM!!!

I looove this song. Such a different vibe. It’s really refreshing to see an artist who is so multitalented! Can’t wait to hear more.

Look, the beef is over guys let’s leave that back in 2018. I’m an Eminem fan myself but y’all got to let this go and just leave him alone. He’s talented asf y’all mad. Love you Colson 🔥😗

If he’s gonna dip into this genre again then he gotta be as fire as he was with “ sleeping with sirens”. His rap flow with their music was on point👌👌👌

Y’all stop judging this mans music based on being a hardcore Eminem Stan... remember how crazy Stan was in the music video? That’s y’all right now. Looking goofy as hell ready to die for someone you idolize. It’s music & these people are artists. Let go of everything else. This style of music suits MGK, his style ... his vibe. It’s him and he’s heading in the right direction. He’s evolving. Let’s leave the rap “beef” out of this and appreciate it for what it is... pop-punk. No one pushed him out of the rap genre. Goof balls. He’s a smart guy... “I think I’m Okay” was a massive hit.
Really?

I like this. I started looking into MGK after his role in The Dirt. I was impressed with his performance. I like the new door he has opened. I don’t think this is because of his spat with Marshall. I honestly liked both disses. It just seems like he is growing as an artist.

Funny seeing all these Eminem stans coming on MGK’s songs to say “eMiNeM bEaT yOu So HaRd tHaT hE bEaT yOu tO A nEw GeNrE”
Like dude, these EMiNeM fan girls need to get the h out of here because this new sound is amazing, and this has nothing to do with Marshall, he just really enjoyed his collab with YUNGBLUD and Tracis Barker. Let this man be. Music is amazing, it’s chill, it’s got a catchy beat and lyrics are also great. Just love this song. EST since 2013 for me, and I’ve loved his rap stuff but I’ve always been more of an alternative rock type of person, so hearing THIS is heaven. Highly recommend this track. Much love and respect to MGK
It’s aight
