this whole album is straight fire; there’s no other artist that competes with Jeff / Excision in my own opinion. Jeff always puts out amazing music. 10/10 recommend
Pretty Good!

I’ve been listening to Excision for a while, and if I’m being honest, there’s never been an album I 100% enjoyed every song, but this one was mostly good. Some stuff was either too typical of his style or too off style kind of breaking the flow of the album, but if the songs are taken individually, most of them are pretty good and have a surprising mixture of heavy and full sounds. I’m interested to see how the new styles shown here evolve.
If you’re looking into this, definitely give them a listen before purchasing the full album outright and find the ones you like.

Not my favorite X Album

This is by no means a bad album, just a little underwhelming from what I was expecting. After giving it a few full listens, I decided to give a 4. I love Home, Die For You, 1 On 1, and Tonight. Songs like, Power and Fall were kinda underwhelming at the drop but they’re not terrible. X is changing up his style and it’s pretty good. Looking forward to future releases. 🦖🦖🦖

Both my car and home stereo groan when I play this. One of the best... if you like "X" you need to get this one!
Good but not great

As someone who’s been listening to him since early 2013, he’s been on somewhat of a decline for me. His darker, bass heavy vibe he had in the early 2010s has been replaced with the unnecessarily wonky stuff almost every bass producer is trying to replicate. The tracks with Sullivan King don’t really transition well either in terms of instrumentation. This album is good but it doesn’t scream excellence for me. Still throwing my Xs up though 🙅🏼♂️🙅🏼♂️🙅🏼♂️🙅🏼♂️

Highly anticipated album for sure! My current faves are Home, Wake Up, Vault. Goes from illenium style chill vibes to head banging rage music! Hope to see excision live in Hawaii for once and my life will be complete 😎. Thanks excision for finally releasing this album.
Awesome album!

I am an enormous Excision fan, Shambhala 2015 & 2016 changed my life. Apex is not that. I had to skip the third track because it was so emo. There are no transitions, it's like a real album. Please sample the songs and buy them individually because the album is dreck. Complete and utter disappointment and I am heated that I paid for the entire thing. This was an exercise in marketing and capitalizing on his established brand rather than what we've come to expect in terms of dubstep artistry. I should've know better, especially after lost lands. Don't buy!
