E-40 is the best at what he does. His song "Yay Area" represents where he's from, and it's cool to tell people where you're from and to be proud of it. He also has some cool beats and raps.
Good

someone wrote in a review that they think that E-40 sounds like hes barfing when hes rapping. I strongly aggree. i dont get why people are entertained by listening to someone barfing. Since when is barfing something that you make money from?
....GO....LEAVE....NOW

Now is the time for you to leave! I have never heard such terrible noises in my life! You sound like the clown on Billy Madison! so YOU AND YA CREW....can leave....now!....You have no lyrical talent. I can make tighter beats in my garden...I am genuinly dumb-founded as to how you can go about making a 20 song album without striking the surfice of music. Your songs are less coherant than a mute mans attempt at adressing our nation at a time of war. You have inspired me to gouge out my ear drums...and also to send out a demo of an audio tape of me sleeping....silently....if you can do this....anyone can.
Check It....

E-40 has been around for a long time. So, it's about time that he's getting some spotlight.
He's a new artist to you (for those of you who don't know your rap history). Reading your negative reviews about him makes me laugh. Please check your history before you open your mouth. For those of us from the Bay, we can appreciate him for opening the door for more bay area rap artists to share that spotlight. However, original credit to artists such as Too-Short and 2pac for paving the way. Though I am an E-40 fan I gave this album 4 stars. I miss the old 40, but I understand the nature of the business.

E-40 is a good rapper. I never heard of him before he released this album. I like the way how he raps (sounds like an animated Cali man) and his Bay Area slang: "stunna shades" (big sunglasses), "gas brake dip", "doors open", and "watch him swang" (the previous three terms all deal with cars as seen in the video for "Tell Me When To Go"). I previewed the entire album and the only problem is that most of the beats sound the same, especially during the first half, but the reason why I'm here is to talk about the two most populart songs from this album: Tell Me When To Go and U and Dat. Tell Me When To Go is a song that explains the hyphy movement, Bay Area slang, and him wanting underground music instead of mainstream. The raspy- voiced Keak Da Sneak is a good guest appearance on this song. It's a good song for people who just heard of him, like me. U and Dat features T-Pain and Kandi Girl and E-40 goes to his raunchy side. The person who wrote the Album Review said that this song sounds like "Ciara's chart-conquering 'Goodies' all over again". True but U and Dat is better. (No offense, C, but you're still my favorite singer!) I would buy this album if there was a variety of different beats throughout the album.
I LOve "U aNd DaT"

This is the new stripper anthem. I have to start going more often because you know not only strippers but the club rats will be shaking their butts to this song. I can't stop bumpin to this song. It's addictive. Any guy who does not like this song is whipped by his girl. Tell your girl to let you go from your leash for one day.
