I find this music haunting, beautiful and extremely emotional. Arca’s decision to add his beautiful voice was a wise one, because these songs have a depth that can only be described as artful. Perhaps Bjork is influencing him as he influences her. Let’s hope he continues to grow and share his soul with us.

In a lot of the tracks there is this vocal with the most irritating voice it gives me the shivers. If you can get past that, then by all means.

As a huge Arca fan, the singles leading up to the album release blew me away. They were so different from his previous releases and they showcased his vocal and production talents, while still maintaining his signature sound. However, the rest of the songs on the album are much more underwhelming.
Favorite Tracks: Reverie/Anoche/Sin Rumbo/Whip
Least Favorite Tracks: Saunter/Coraje/Fugaces

..the music existing within this album will no doubt be a sonic reflection of what it means to be an individual amidst a sea of clones. Whether you can relate to the aberrence of his message, or his claims, or his execution, it is important to note how crucial it is that there are those out there who can find a way to cherish what it is that Arca has to bring to the table. It is people like him who will be used as reference points within the history books of the future - especially those concerneced with bravery and the fearlessness of an entirely public self discovery. I beg of thee: attempt to cherish him, for by sharing a species with him places thee several millenia ahead of your deserved slot in human evolution.
