Closer in style to Mezzanine, and much better because of it. The band should release an EP like this once a year.
Thank god

Didn't like it at first. I love it now. Voodoo in my blood and the title song are both sublime. I was a fan of heligoland but this is the best stuff they've released since Mezzanine. Looking forward to their other releases this year.
Heard this in the car...

Let's just hope the LP has the quality we've come to expect from Massive Attack. After listening to these tracks for a few days, the mediocrity has begin to take center stage, as none of the songs were actually 'great'. Let me just say that the soul of MA was missing in these songs.
Wow

Not sure why some people would call this band disappointing. Personally, I begin salivating every time that new Massive Attack material is released…and this time is no exception. Love it…!!

For any fan of Massive Attack's classic 1990s-early 2000s run, the last 6 or so years have largely been a disappointment. Heligoland and Atlas Air, despite boasting some of their most marketable singles (like Paradise Circus) lack much of the energy and anxiety of stalwarts like Angel, Blue Lines, and Unfinished Symphony. But alas, the drought seems to be relenting. Massive Attack brings on board some new blood on this EP and it seems to work pretty well. If you're a fan, you'll thoroughly enjoy.
