I fell in love with Jay Rock off the late night watching the “Hood Gone Love It” video and been hooked ever since then. Like someone else said TDE is 2/2 this year, Schoolboy Q CD last year was classic too, TDE puts nothing out but hits! If you think rap music is dead it is very much alive on the West Coast.

Two words for this album. Str8 fire! Tremendous growth from his first album. IMO he's the only TDE artist who's second album was better than the first.
2015 is the new 2010

This album is really good coming from a musician's perspective. I enjoy Jay Rocks energy. Everyone I know who listened to this album had a different favorite song with two that everyone liked. Production and engineering wise this is a masterpiece and if you didn't like "To Pimp a Butterfly" this is the album you are looking for because this REALLY bumps. This is sonically a masterpiece with a little substance that you have to dig into. This is the continuation of gangsta rap and I am glad that Jay Rock is keeping it old school and continuing the sub-genre while keeping it fresh. I commend that.
